Air Power is excited to offer the BRAND NEW Gema OptiFlex® ProX B box unit!

Air Power Manufacturing Solutions congratulates Gema on the release of the new OptiFlex® ProX B powder coating unit. We are proud to offer this state-of-the-art equipment to our customers, and we are investing in the knowledge and inventory needed to help them put it to work.

We sent two of our Application Engineers to Gema to learn more about the new technology. We are also investing in stock and organizing training across our branches to prepare our teams to introduce the OptiFlex ProX B to customers and discuss how it fits their coating applications.

For Air Power, supporting a product launch begins with understanding the equipment. Our goal is to help customers make informed decisions and bring useful new technology into their operations with confidence.

New Technology for Manual Powder Coating

Gema’s new OptiFlex ProX platform combines TargetSpray technology with PowerBoost® to advance manual powder coating performance. The launch focuses on greater coating precision, productivity, and application quality, including demanding coating applications.

The OptiFlex ProX B brings that technology to a box-feed configuration designed for operations that change colors frequently. It draws powder directly from the original powder box, simplifying the changeover process.

Key features include:

  • TargetSpray assistance designed to help operators coat challenging geometries while supporting surface quality and powder savings.
  • PowerBoost® technology providing 110 kV powder charging capability.
  • Flexibility to extend capacity: When two guns are required, this model can be easily extended to a double unit.
  • An inclined vibrating table and fluidized suction tube designed to make effective use of powder in the box and support consistent delivery.
  • PowerClean purging activated directly from the gun to help clear powder accumulations during color changes.
  • Digital Valve Control technology for precise, repeatable powder output and improved film thickness consistency.

The ProX platform also features the OptiSelect® ProX manual gun, an OptiStar® ProX controller with an intuitive touchscreen, and the OptiFlow ProX injector with a single-component cartridge design for consistent powder flow.

Air Power Is Investing in Customer Readiness

New equipment creates the most value when the people recommending and using it understand its capabilities. That is why Air Power has sent multiple Application Engineers to Gema to learn about the OptiFlex ProX B firsthand.

That investment gives our team a stronger foundation for conversations about customers’ parts, powders, and production requirements. It helps us connect the equipment’s features to the practical questions coaters face when considering an upgrade.

We are extending that preparation across our branch network. Branch-wide training is being organized to help our teams understand the new technology and get it into customers’ hands. Alongside that training, we are investing in stock to support the product’s rollout.
